Prices and booking
How much does gazebo hire cost?
It depends on the size, the quantity, the length of hire and your postcode, so we do not publish a single list price that would be wrong for most people. The quote builder gives you the real figure in about thirty seconds, with delivery, set up, collection and the stainless steel weights already in it.
Is there a deposit, and when do I pay?
Nothing is charged when you send a quote request. We confirm the date first, then invoice you. If you would rather pay by card or bank transfer, either is fine.
Do I get a discount for hiring more than one?
Yes, and it is applied automatically rather than being something you have to ask for. 2 gazebos - 10% off. 3 to 4 gazebos - 15% off. 5 or more gazebos - 20% off. The discount comes off the gazebos; extras and delivery are charged as they are.
How far in advance should I book?
For a summer weekend, a few weeks is sensible. For anything between October and December, book earlier, because the heaters go first and they are the reason most people hire in those months. We will always tell you honestly if a date is tight.
Can you do a last minute booking?
Often, especially locally. Send the quote request through and put the date in the notes, and we will come straight back to you.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Tell us as early as you can and there is no charge. If you cancel very close to the date we may have turned other work away, so we will talk it through, but we are not in the business of penalising people for things outside their control.
Sizes and what fits
What sizes do you stock?
Four: 2 x 2m, 3 x 3m, 3 x 4.5m and 3 x 6m. We deliberately do not stock twenty sizes. These are the ones that fit real gardens, driveways and market pitches.
Which size do I need?
Roughly: a 3 x 3m seats 8 and holds 12 standing, a 3 x 4.5m seats 12 or 20 standing, and a 3 x 6m seats 18 or 30 standing. If you are between two, go bigger. Nobody has ever regretted having extra cover when it started raining.
Can you join gazebos together?
Yes, they all connect. Two 3 x 6m frames side by side give you a clear 6 x 6m covered area, and you can make an L shape around a corner with mixed sizes. If you need a big footprint this is how we do it, rather than putting up a marquee.
Do you do large white wedding marquees?
No, and that is deliberate. Our gazebos are commercial grade and designed to go up and down in minutes. If you want a traditional white marquee for 150 people you want a marquee company, and we will happily say so.
How much space do you need around the gazebo?
Allow about half a metre clear on each side for us to work and for the weights to sit. For access, we can carry frames through a gap of around 80cm and assemble on site, so a narrow side return is usually fine as long as you tell us in advance.
Delivery, set up and collection
Is delivery and set up included?
Yes. We deliver, build it, weight it down, fit the sidewalls and position the heaters, then come back afterwards and take it all away. There is no separate labour charge and you do not lift anything.
How does the weekend hire work?
We set up on the Friday and collect on the Monday, which is what most people want. A single day costs the same, because the cost to us is the two visits rather than the days in between. Longer hires are priced up in the quote builder.
What does delivery cost to my postcode?
It is banded by distance from our yard: within 10 miles, 10 to 30 miles, over 30 miles, central london, north and east london, west london and beyond the m25. Free within ten miles, our standard rate from ten to thirty, and higher beyond that because the drive, the congestion charge and the parking all cost us more. On any order over £300 we waive it completely, as long as you are within thirty miles. Put your postcode into the quote builder and it will tell you the exact figure instantly.
Do you deliver into central London?
Yes, including the congestion charge zone, and that is reflected in the zone price. For central jobs we will want to know about loading access, lifts and the route in before confirming. Roof terraces and courtyards are no problem.
How long does set up take?
A single 3 x 3m takes a few minutes. A 3 x 6m with walls and weights is more like twenty. For a multi gazebo order allow an hour or so. We will give you a time window rather than making you wait in all day.
Do I need to be there?
Ideally someone is, so we can check you are happy with the position before we weight it down. If that is impossible, leave us access instructions and a clear idea of where you want it and we will get on with it.
Heaters, lights and extras
Do you hire gazebo heaters?
Yes. Ours are infrared units that mount overhead on the gazebo frame, so nothing takes up floor space and there is no flame or gas bottle. They warm up the instant they are switched on. One for a 3 x 3m, two for a 3 x 6m. They run off a normal socket, so we do need power on site. They are our own stock rather than hired in, which is why we still have them in November.
Are the sidewalls extra?
No, premium heavy duty blackout sidewalls are included free with every gazebo. Fit all of them, leave one open as a doorway, or have none at all. You can decide on the day when you see the weather.
What furniture do you have?
Folding chairs priced per chair, and 6ft folding tables priced per table, which come with a fitted stretch cover so they look dressed rather than like trestles. One table seats six. Add them in the quote builder to see the cost.
Can I have lights?
Festoon lighting at £29 per gazebo, strung the length of the frame on a timer plug. Free on every gazebo when you hire two or more. With the walls down it makes a noticeable difference after dark.
Safety and weather
How do you stop it blowing away?
2 stainless steel weights on every leg, included free and fitted by us. A four leg frame gets eight and a 3 x 6m gets twelve. We hold over a tonne of stainless and we will not leave a gazebo standing without them.
What if it is windy on the day?
We will ring you. Options are dropping the sidewalls, which makes a bigger difference than people expect, going down a size, moving it somewhere sheltered, or moving the date. If we think it is unsafe we will cancel and you will not be charged.
Are they waterproof?
Yes. Commercial grade waterproof canopies with proper sidewalls. Rain is what they are for, and with the walls on and a heater running it is genuinely comfortable underneath.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes, and we will send the certificate over if your venue, school or council needs it. Just ask when you enquire.
